COVID-19 Policies and Procedures 

We're open and ready to take care of you!

We are thrilled to welcome you to Olive Hill! We have installed

protective barriers throughout the salon and have implemented social

distancing and additional sanitation measures. We are going to be

wearing masks, taking daily temperature checks and we will be

cleaning and disinfecting our stations between each client. We have prepared a list of new safety procedures based on the State of California guidelines. We know it is a lot, but our goal is to ensure everyone's

health and safety while providing you with exceptional services.


Appointment Procedures

  • All services are by appointment only. No walk-ins until further notice

  • You will be required to wear a mask that loops behind the ear during your entire service. Please bring your own mask, preferably a disposable one, or purchase one from the salon. No neck gaiters.

  • Arrive with clean dry hair for color appointments. It is fine if you wash your hair the day before. We cannot apply color to your hair if your roots are full of touch-up spray or dry shampoo.

  • Make sure we have your current email and phone number on file.

  • We will contact you before your visit to confirm your appointment and ask if you or someone in your household is exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms.

  • Text or call 650-851-1150 when you have arrived for your scheduled appointment.

  • Remain in your car and we will tell you when your stylist is ready for you. We temporarily have no waiting area in the lobby. 

  • Your temperature will be taken in the lobby before you enter the salon.

  • You will be required to sanitize your hands upon entering the salon.

  • We have suspended our beverage service, snacks and magazines.

  • Please limit the items you bring with you. Do not bring food or drinks. Leave extra bags at home.

  • We will escort you to your stylist's station. Please maintain social distancing from other guests/employees (except your stylist).

  • Only individuals with a service appointment will be allowed in the salon. Please do not bring a friend, family member or pets with you.

  • Contactless payment options are available, and cash is discouraged. We will not be able to provide change.

Cancellation Policy


  • If you feel ill or have been exposed to anyone with Covid-19 symptoms, please stay home.

  • If you need to cancel due to illness, notify us in advance and we will not charge the cancellation fee. If you do not notify us that you are ill and do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged 100% of the service.


Late Arrival Policy


  • Due to additional cleaning and sanitation measure we will not be able to accommodate late arrivals. If you arrive 10 minutes late or more for your appointment there will be a 100% cancellation fee
